MonoProxy Android is a local proxy server application that supports HTTP / HTTPS together with SOCKS4 / SOCKS4a / SOCKS5 on the same port. This privacy policy explains how MonoProxy Android and its optional support features handle data.
Data Collection
Information We Do Not Automatically Collect
Your name, email address, or phone number, unless you choose to include contact information in a support request
Precise or approximate location
Advertising identifiers or analytics profiles
Proxy credentials, browsing history, or proxied content on our servers
Information Processed Locally
Network traffic data processed locally on device
Temporary runtime statistics displayed only in the app
User settings saved only on device locally
Optional host-only history and site traffic totals, stored locally only when enabled
Optional Support Feedback
You may choose to submit feedback from within the app. A submission includes the feedback type, title, description, email address you enter, app version, Android version, device manufacturer and model, and a limited proxy configuration summary such as the port and whether SOCKS, authentication, private-client mode, or an access policy is enabled.
Support feedback never includes proxy passwords, proxy usernames, browsing history, visited hosts, client IP addresses, selected network addresses, or proxied content. It is transmitted to the Monoware support service over HTTPS and used only to respond to the request, diagnose the reported issue, and improve MonoProxy. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Data Usage
Proxy operation, credentials, traffic records, and settings are processed on your device
Proxy traffic, credentials, history, and statistics are not uploaded to our servers
Only support information you explicitly choose to submit is sent to our support service
HTTPS tunnels are relayed without certificate installation, decryption, or content inspection
Data Security
App data is protected by the standard Android app sandbox and device security mechanisms
Android cloud backup is disabled for MonoProxy
Proxy credentials are encrypted with Android Keystore-backed storage and are never written to diagnostics or logs
No proxy credentials, browsing history, or proxied content is transmitted to us
Third-Party Services
MonoProxy does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Support requests are handled through the Monoware support service. When optional site icons are enabled, the app may request an icon directly from the corresponding host; those requests are not sent to Monoware.
Data Retention
Runtime connection data exists only while the app is running
When optional browsing history is enabled, host-only records are capped at 500 entries and seven days
Optional site traffic totals and app settings remain locally until you clear them or uninstall the app
Data in the app container is removed by the operating system when the app is uninstalled
Optional support submissions are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us.
